This notice explains which personal data we process when you visit dancemediagroup.org or use our forms, and what rights you have. It follows the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).

2. In short
- We do not use cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking tools.
- Fonts and the background video are hosted by us. Your browser does not load content from other companies' servers for them.
- Our forms do not use a third-party captcha.
3. Visiting the website
When you open a page, our web server and the content delivery service in front of it process technical connection data: IP address, date and time, requested address, browser and device information and the referring page. We need this to deliver the website, keep it secure and find errors (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Server log data is used for these purposes only and is deleted regularly.
We use Cloudflare as a security and content delivery service. Visitor traffic passes through Cloudflare's network, which may be located outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland. Cloudflare processes the connection data described above on our behalf. Transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
4. Forms
License request
If you request a license, we process the platform and term you choose, the video URLs, your name, email address, optional company and country, your message, and the language of the page. We use this to check the rights, answer you and, if a contract is concluded, to carry it out and invoice it (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We keep the data as long as it is needed for this and for statutory retention duties (for invoices, up to ten years).
Contact
If you write to us, we process your name (if given), email address and message to answer you (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). We delete the message when the matter is closed and no retention duty applies.
Reporting a violation
If you report a video, we process the URLs you send. We do not ask for your name or email address. We use the data to check and follow up the report (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and keep it for as long as the case and related limitation periods require.
Abuse protection
To protect the forms from spam and automated abuse, we store a keyed hash of your IP address, never the IP address itself. Hashes used for the rate limit are deleted after about two days. The hash stored with a submission cannot be traced back to you without our secret key and only serves to recognise abuse (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Forms also use a signed time token and a hidden field; neither is stored in your browser.
5. Email
We receive form submissions and send confirmations by email through our mail service provider. Emails are transported over encrypted connections where the recipient's server supports it.
6. Recipients
Besides the service providers named above (hosting, Cloudflare, email delivery), your data is passed on only if the law requires it or you ask us to. If we confirm a license, we may share the licensing details with the videographer whose footage is concerned.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. You can withdraw consent at any time. To exercise your rights, write to [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority, for example the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or the authority in your EU country of residence.
8. Security
The website is delivered over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to stored requests is protected by additional authentication.
9. Changes
We update this notice when our services or the law change. The date at the top shows the current version.
